Do you ever catch yourself distracted by your own image on Zoom? This workshop encourages you to take a closer look at yourself while drawing your portrait as it appears on screen. Instruction will focus on rendering as it pertains to self-portraiture. An emphasis will be placed on elements of design including perspective, composition, line quality, value & lighting, as well as proportion & scale. The self-portraits generated during the workshop will be gathered digitally after and formed into one collaborative grid piece, a drawn “Gallery View” of our session. This workshop is open to participants 16 & older with some drawing experience. All supplies are provided in a kit that you can pick-up prior to class.
