Event Registration

Take a look inside the creative process with artist Karlene McConnell. During this artist talk in the beautiful garden gazebo, become acquainted with Karlene’s artwork and the tools she uses to paint with. She’ll discuss her inspiration, subject matter, as well as artists from the past who influence her style. Please bring a notebook and pen; audience members will have an opportunity to interact with Karlene as she leads some written exercises that will give participants insight into themselves and how they can express their feelings about works of art. Social distancing guidelines are in place, and mask are encouraged.

Karlene McConnell is represented by Arts on Douglas in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Her artwork will be on display in the OMAM Pop-Up Exhibit at 9 West Granada Blvd. May 4-31, 2021.
